The Edwards Signaling Duct Detector is a smoke detector designed for installation in air ducts. It operates on 16-30V DC and provides a Form C alarm contact rated at 10A @ 125VAC. The detector uses an ionization type smoke sensor and provides 360° smoke detection coverage. It features an LED status indicator and test switch. The housing is made of 18 gauge steel with an epoxy finish. It comes with gasket seals and sampling tubes for easy duct mounting. The operating temperature range is 32-131°F. This duct smoke detector provides reliable smoke detection for HVAC system protection.

The Edwards Signaling Heat Detector is a rate-of-rise heat detector that activates its alarm when the temperature rises at a rate exceeding 15°F per minute. It has a fixed temperature heat sensor that activates at 135°F. The heat detector has a low profile design with a white finish and operates on 24VAC/VDC power. It is UL Listed and meets NFPA 72 standards. The heat detector provides open area protection with a coverage range up to 2,500 sq ft.

This heat detector operates on a thermistor sensing element and dual electronic thermostats to sense rate-of-rise in accordance with UL 521. It can be used in duct applications up to 2000 FPM air velocity. The operating voltage range is 6 to 32 VDC.
